Thirteen people swore the oath of allegiance and became New Zealand citizens at a ceremony at Southland District Council’s chambers today. The ceremony was conducted by Councillor Bruce Ford in the absence of Mayor Gary Tong, along with Council chief executive Cameron McIntosh.
